MAY G TRUITT's Obituary
May G. Truitt, age 97, of Selbyville, DE passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born on February 6, 1916 in Trenton, NJ to the late John and Gertrude Berger. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Preston J. Truitt and her son, John E. Truitt who passed October 19, 2012. She retired from J. Conn Scott Furniture after working there for approximately 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Georgetown, DE. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, June Truitt with whom she lived, a sister, Rhoda Martin, grandson, Michael Truitt and his wife Dawn of Selbyville, granddaughter, Tracey Berry and her husband Chris of Bishopville, four great grandchildren, Shane Truitt and wife Michelle, Jennah Truitt, Rachel Berry and Cole Berry, along with three great great grandchildren, Kyle, Logan and Makenzie Truitt. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
