Obituary Melissa Givans
Melissa Givans affectionately known to her family and friends as "Missy" or "Mick" passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Beebe Medical Center.
Missy was born on December 5, 1978 to Gary D. Givans, Sr. and the late Carol Lathbury Givans who passed in 2018. In addition to her mother she is also preceded in death by a nephew, Tyler Jordan Givans in 2019.
She was a homemaker. Missy enjoyed making gift baskets, crafting, photography and spending time with her daughters and family. She was a sweet, caring and kind person who would always put others needs before her own.
Missy is survived by her significant other, Korri Smyre of Millsboro, DE; two daughters, Jada B. Givans and Mia L. Gibbs both of Millsboro, DE; a brother, Gary D. Givans, Jr. and his wife Brandy of Laurel, DE as well as a niece, Peyton Givans and nephew Zachary Givans. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
