Michael Gerome Brantley Sr.
Michael G. Brantley, Sr. of Millsboro, DE and formerly of West Deptford, NJ passed away at home on Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was 58 years old.
He was born in Marion, SC on August 28, 1963, to Marie Brantley and the late James M. Cross.
Michael was a Trucker for Kreilkamp Trucking Incorporated for five years. He loved to fish, work on cars and audio/visual equipment, music, nutrition and weightlifting. Michael met and married Balinda Holsey on October 4, 1990.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Balinda Brantley; two sons, Michael G. Brantley Jr. of California City, CA, Vincent D. Johnson Jr. of Darby, PA; two brothers, David Brantley and James Hyman; nine sisters, Sabrina King, Carmen Cook- Strickland and brother-in-law Keith, Lee Anna McKeyfin, Ruth Curry, Angela Hyman, Tanisha Tennie, Lois Wheeler, Shaila Cross, and Shilla Cross, ; three grandchildren, Jamiyah, Rashadd, Vincent D. III. Michael is also survived by his father-in-law Robert L. Holsey and mother-in-law Janie Holsey as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, extended family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966 where friends may call from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM for viewing and visitation. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. 26808 Dupont Blvd, Millsboro, DE 19966.
