Michael Clark Lasher's Obituary
Michael Clark Lasher, 55, passed away in his sleep at home in Millsboro, Delaware on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 4th, 9:00am at Mary Mother of Peace Church, 30839 Mt. Joy Rd,, Millsboro, DE 19966, with internment to follow at Millsboro Cemetery.
He was born April 8, 1963 and lived his entire life in Millsboro. His parents, Hiram N. & Bertha V. Lasher, and brother, Steven H, Lasher preceded him in death. Michael is survived by his twin sister Michele B. Lasher of Dagsboro, DE; sisters Sandra L. & (William M.) Gordon of Inglis, FL; Denise H. Lasher (Sigmund Paczkowski) of Lutz, FL; brothers Douglas N. (Carolyn S.) Lasher of Decatur, AL; Hiram Dennis Lasher (Debbie Case-Lasher) of Millsboro, DE; nephew Sean D.( Lisa A.) Lasher; nieces Elizabeth L. Wehnes; Sarah L. (Stephen) Fox and great-nephew Hiram S. Lasher. In addition to many cousins, Michael is survived by two aunts, Betty V. Decker and Evelyn K. Lasher of New York.
As well as working in the family business, Michael was a lifelong advocate for all things living, a dedicated Catholic and devoted his life to his belief in Christ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Michael's name to Brandywine SPCA- Georgetown, 22912 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
