MILDRED BERNICE HARMON's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred B. Harmon ""Indian Pride"" of Millsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Mildred Harmon was born in Millsboro, DE on June 18, 1927 to the late Joseph and Elsie Davis Clark. She worked at Swift's Poultry Plant for many years. Mildred was a member of Indian Mission United Methodist Church and a life member of the Nanticoke Indian Association. She was an easy going and a kind person. Mildred enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She was dedicated to her family and especially loved her grandchildren dearly. She is survived by two daughters, Dalene Brandner and her husband Rick of Millsboro, DE; Diane Johnson of Georgetown, DE; a step-son Reese Harmon, Jr., of Millsboro, DE; one brother, Laymond Clark of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Jodie Brown, Jessie Pritchett, Farrah Norwood, Devin Cropper and Amanda Norwood, along with a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family and friends as well as her feline friend, ""Cupcake"" and canine friend ""Snickers"". A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Indian Mission United Methodist Church, 22701 Indian Mission Road, Harbeson, DE 19951, where friends may call after 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Pastor Karen Mumford will officiate. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com
