Nancy M. Luczkiewicz's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy M. Luczkiewicz of Georgetown, DE and more recently of Atlantic Shores Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was 84 years old.
She was born on November 22, 1937, in Camden, NJ to the late William E. and Frieda Kruger Callahan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank Luczkiewicz in as well as a son Johnnie Mazanec.
Nancy was a homemaker. Taking care of her husband Frank and six children was her full-time job. Later she worked at Dunkin Donuts, Tyco and the Vanity Fair Outlet. She was a talented writer and three of her articles written about Presidents were published in the Courier Post. Nancy was known to be smart, witty, generous, straight forward and a wonderful, sweet person who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by five children: Katherine Poore of Titusville, FL; William Mazanec of Gloucester City, NJ, Larry Collins of Oaklyn, NJ, Leon Collins of Willingboro, NJ and Edward Luczkiewicz of Rehoboth Beach, DE. She also has four siblings surviving: Jane Moore, Margaret Eckel, Rosie Haskins, and Paul Callahan. Nancy was also blessed with over 70 grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A private interment will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery,2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701.
