Nina Lee Howard's Obituary
Mrs. Nina Lee Howard of Gumboro, DE passed peacefully at home on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Howard was born on January 15, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Frank and Mary Ford Gant. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Gant and two sisters, Mary Kallay and Evelyn Bowers.
Nina was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Seinfeld and NCIS. In her younger years she loved to dance. Nina was quiet and loved taking care of her family including her two dogs "Peanut" and "Lucy".
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leon G. Howard, Sr., of Gumboro, DE.; two sons, Louis Howard and his wife Tina of Roxana, DE and Leon G. Howard, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Gumboro, DE; two grandchildren, Andrew Howard and Sarah Howard. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call for visitation from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice to benefit relief efforts in Texas.
