OLIVE MAE BAKER's Obituary
Mrs. Olive Mae Baker of Millsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Baker was born in Snow Hill, MD on December 11, 1939 to the late Isaac and Annie M. Stewart Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harold Baker in 2000 and a son, Johnny Lee Baker in 1982.
She enjoyed listening to country music, collecting angels, watching TV, especially her "stories", Popeye's Chicken, oyster sandwiches, peppermint candies, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was funny and colorful with a delightful sense of humor, a great cook, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Olive was religious and loved the Lord.
She is survived by four children, Stewart Baker and his wife Kim of Gumboro, DE; Sherry Wilkinson of Pocomoke, MD; Lori Pusey and her husband Walt of Snow Hill, MD; Hal Baker and his wife Amy of Millsboro, DE; two brothers, Billy and Bobby and her sister Elsie all of Snow Hill, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Cierra Rantz and husband Jeremy, Ronnie Wilkinson, Josh Baker, Cody Pusey, Morgan Pusey, Johney Baker and Brodie Baker and two great grandchildren; Jake and Luke Rantz along with special friends Debbie Stevenson, Marie Walker and Irma Clark.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will follow at Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.
