PATRICIA JOAN PITRIZZI-GRAVATT's Obituary
Obituary of Mrs. Patricia Joan Pitrizzi-Gravatt ""Momma Dukes"" Patricia Joan Pitrizzi-Gravatt passed away suddenly at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware on December 13, 2012. She was 55 years old. Born in Wilmington on February 13, 1957, growing up in the Price's Corner area. She was the daughter of the late John J. Pitrizzi Sr. and Alberta Joan Dearolf Pitrizzi, who survives her. She was a graduate of Thomas McKean High School. She married her husband, Richard A. Gravatt in Wilmington, in 1983. She was currently employed as a Diagnostic Assistant at Beebe Medical Center, where she has served for twenty years. She was a hard working, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening, decorating and helping others. Her whole world revolved around her granddaughter, Chloe. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her children: Anna M. Gravatt and John R. Gravatt, both of Millsboro; and her elder son, Nicholas C. Nisky, of James Island, SC. She also survives two brothers: John J. Pitrizzi, of Newark, DE and Michael A. Pitrizzi, and his wife Linda, of Milton. She has one granddaughter, Chloe Michelle Gravatt. A funeral service is planned for 2pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. George's Chapel in Harbeson, DE where friends & family may call one hour prior for visitation with the family, and to pay respects to Patty. The Rev. Max Wolf will officiate the service. Interment follows in All Saints Cemetery.
