Paul W. Baker's Obituary
Mr. Paul W. Baker of Tucson, AZ, passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 88.
He was born in Gumboro, DE and lived there until graduating from Millsboro High School where he served as class president his junior and senior year.
Paul was a Veteran, serving 4 years in the Navy and later in the Navy Reserves. After his honorable discharge, Paul was employed with Hercules Powder Co. in Wilmington, DE until his early retirement in 1989.
He was involved in Pennsylvania politics for many years where he served with integrity. After retirement, Paul and his wife Doris relocated to Tucson, AZ.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Doris Baker of Tucson, AZ and three stepchildren, Patricia (Richard) Groski, and Lisa (John) Campbell of Pinetop, AZ and Frederick W. Steward, Jr. of San Antonio, TX. He also leaves behind a half-brother, Sherman Jones and his wife Patty of Gumboro, DE as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Dagsboro Redmen's Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Jones officiating.
