Obituary of Pauline M. Esham
Pauline M. Esham of Millsboro, DE passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at her daughter Sharon's home, where she was receiving care from Delaware Hospice.
She was born in Millsboro, DE to the late Ollie Dale and Helen Mae McCabe Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her first husband Kermit Mitchell in 1962 and second husband George Esham in May of 2019 as well as her sister Barbara Mumford and her canine companion "Ruby".
Pauline attended the Gumboro Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed travelling, going out to eat, camping and going to the beach. She was a resident of Millsboro, DE her whole life until recently due to her declining health she moved in with her daughter Sharon and son-in-law Dean.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by three daughters: Pamela Schones of Milton, DE; Karen Mitchell of Milton, DE; Sharon Bunting (Dean) of Frankford, DE; one son Russell Moore of Wilmington, DE and one stepson Timmy Esham (Susan) of Millsboro, DE; a sister Doris Calvanessa of Ocean View, DE and a sister-in-law Bonnie Goetz of Millsboro, DE. Pauline also leaves behind six grandchildren: Elvis Price, Shannon Price, Sherman Mitchell, Mark Moore (Natasha), Sean Moore (Lisa) and Justin Faulkner (Winter) as well as five great grandchildren: Raylin Kay, A.J., Sean, Dani and Grant.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, DE, where friends may call from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for visitation with the family. Pastor Eddie Daniels will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Pauline's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
