Pauline V. Tingle, born on May 4, 1935, in Sinepuxent, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, in Newark, Delaware. She was the beloved daughter of the late Lockwood and Phyllis (Derrickson) Tingle.
Pauline dedicated much of her life to caring for others, first as a devoted caregiver and later as a vaccinator for Perdue. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and her commitment to helping others will long be remembered.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; doing seek-a-word and crossword puzzles; cooking, shopping, and going out to eat with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Bailey.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Simmons and Derrick Tingle; and loving partner, Pearlis.
A funeral service to honor Pauline’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium in Millsboro, Delaware, at 3:00 PM. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM prior to the start of the service. Interment will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 8, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pauline’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
