Phyllis B. Harmon-Megee
Age: 84
Phyllis "Sunshine" B. Harmon-Megee passed away on her 84th birthday on November 20, 2015 at Season's Hospice Center, Christiana Care in Newark, Delaware. Mrs. Harmon-Megee was born to the late David W. & Eliza Jane Morris of Millsboro, Delaware on November 20, 1931. She was employed in many different capacities throughout Sussex County where she spent most of her life. She moved to Luther Towers in Dover, DE in 2010. She was a Lifetime member of the Nanticoke Indian Association, Inc. and a faithful member of Harmony United Methodist Church, both of Millsboro, DE.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Harmon-Megee was preceded in death by her husband, Herman F. Megee; brothers: Leon Morris, Walter (Tommy) Morris, Willis (Billy) Morris, Earl Morris, Harvey Morris , Harry Morris, Sterling Morris and Clarence Morris; sisters: Bessie (Wright) Clark and Aileen Morris.
Mrs. Harmon-Megee is survived by her son, Arthur S. Morris and daughter-in-law, Mary A. T. Morris of Dover, DE; granddaughters, Yolanda N. and Monique L. Morris of Bristol, Tennessee; two great grandchildren, Ebony L. Morris & Michael S. Howard of Bristol, Tennessee; sister, Charlotte Jane Wood of Harrington, Delaware and a brother, Edward S. Morris of Millsboro, Delaware and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Tuesday, November 24th, 7:00 p.m., at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Delaware preceded by a viewing from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Harmony Cemetery in Millsboro, Delaware.
Flowers are welcomed or donations, in her memory, may be made payable to NIA Scholarship and mailed to the Nanticoke Indian Association, Inc., 27073 John J. Williams Highway, Millsboro, DE 19966.
