Randall "Jay" Cowen, beloved son of James Randall and Mary Elaine (Radish) Cowen, was born in Seaford, DE, on December 3, 1960. He peacefully passed away on May 2, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Jay found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep appreciation for country music, finding solace and connection in its melodies. His love for watching TV brought him countless hours of entertainment and relaxation. But above all, Jay treasured moments spent with family, eagerly attending every gathering and event with a warm smile on his face.
His affection extended beyond humans; Jay had a special place in his heart for his beloved pitbulls, who brought him companionship and unconditional love throughout the years.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, but he leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Class (Steve), nephew, Ryan Class (Karlie), nieces, Asheley Class (Derrick), Brianna Dickerson (Adam), and Lora Hitchens (Raymond), along with numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jay's life will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, DE. A viewing will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the start of the service.
