RANDALL WILLIAM TOOMEY, JR.'s Obituary
Mr. Randall W. Toomey, Jr, "Chicken Pop Pop", of Gumboro, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 24, 2015, after a short illness. He was 56 years old.
Randy was born in Salisbury, MD to the late Randall W. Toomey, Sr. and Anna Lee Anderson Toomey who survives him.
He worked as a poultry farmer and enjoyed it. Randy enjoyed golf, NASCAR, baseball, and the 49'ers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Sherrie Dawson of Gumboro, DE, five children, Dale Toomey; Randi Carlin and her husband Jon; Chuck Dawson, Bradley Dawson, and Candace Dawson; three sisters, Debbie BeMiller; Brenda Toomey; Pam McGinnis and her husband Buddy; five nieces and nephews, L.T. BeMiller, Billy BeMiller, Destiny Kuhn, Brandy Toomey and Anna Kilgore, along with six grandchildren, Taylor Toomey, Cheyenne Blades, Breann Toomey, Mallory Blades, Evan Toomey, Weston Dawson, and we cannot forget his devoted canine companion Rusty.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may visit from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Randall W. Toomey, Jr. may be made in support of the Liver Unit at Jefferson.
