Reginald B. Jackson's Obituary
Reginald Burelle Jackson, of Millsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Beebe Health Care in Lewes, DE. He was 86 years old. He was born to the late Hersel and Elsie Jackson on January 21, 1936, in Millsboro, DE.
Reginald was a life-long resident of Delaware. He and his wife Judith, of 23 years, were married on August 26, 1999. He was self-employed as a construction contractor for over 45 years. He was a wonderful provider for his family. He enjoyed spending time with them as well as being a jokester. Reginald was an avid hunter and had hunted rabbit, squirrel, quail, and deer with his hunting dogs by his side. At one point he had owned racehorses and his special one was "Buoy O Buoy". Reginald also enjoyed his gardening. He'd go out and tend to his garden from sunup until sun down.
He his preceded in death by his parents, Hersel and Elsie Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Judith; four children, Stelene Oliver (George), Gary B. Jackson (Jo Anne), Katrina Johnson (Jeffrey), and Kim Jackson (Terri) all of Millsboro, DE; three step-children Jeffrey Roberts (Bonnie) of Millsboro, DE, Andy Roberts (Becky) of Harbeson, DE, and Susy Hopkins (Dale) of Milton, DE; one sister, Blonnie Zakrociemski (Casmere) of Laurel, DE; one brother, Samuel Jackson (Sylvia) of Newark, DE; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Reginald is also survived by extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Watson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 1:00 PM. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery.
