I wasn't exactly a colleague of Mr. Berry at the National Science Foundation, but met him later in life post NSF for both of us, and enjoyed hearing his stories of the National Science Board and his efforts to save Congressional funding for social sciences! Thanking him for his government service as well as military. May he rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to the family.
