Rich sexually abused me when I was 12 years old in 1996. He was living in Sacketts Harbor at the time, and was part of my homeschooling group. I should have went to the police then, but I was too young to realize that he would probably do the same to someone else. It wasn't his first time, after all. For all the good he may have brought to the world, I feel a weight lifted from me knowing he's dead.
Pastor Rich was by far a big presence in everyone's life's both literally and figuratively, he could tell if you were in a depressed mood and would be quick with his wit and sense of humor which would end with you laughing your head off. The beach just isn't going to be the same without him.

My first and nearly every memory of your Dad was him bringing me and everyone else in earshot tons of laughter! In fact the last Thanksgiving we all shared before he moved from Sacketts Harbor, he made us laugh so hard coffee came out of my nose and Chelsea spewed mashed potatoes! Lol!
Another memory Mark has is when He and your Dad used to send Monty Python quotes through wave files to each other over the internet. It never got old! Lol! I always enjoyed listening to him play his original and favorite music. What a talent he had! He was certainly larger than life! I hope happy memories will bring you comfort and help keep him alive in your hearts. We love you very much and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead!
