RICHARD LEE WELCH's Obituary
Richard Lee Welch of Milsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was 71 years old. Mr. Welch was born in Salisbury, MD on December 1, 1941 to the late Guy and Doris Mae Ruarke Welch. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2000, and a brothers Robert Welsh & Guy Welsh Jr. He worked at United Insurance as an insurance salesman and as a sales manager for Carlton Massey Ford for several years. He enjoyed fishing, golf, playing guitar and especially singing and playing country music & Elvis songs. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends having a good time. He was a kind loving man with a great personality and never met a stranger. He is survived by three children; a daughter, Kimberly Smith of Millsboro, DE; Dana Moore and her husband Andy of Newark, DE; and Rick Welch of Smyrna, DE; a sister, Marilyn Mortimer and her husband Bill and sister-in-law, Gayle Welsh; several grandchildren and great grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins & several extended family members and friends.
