Robert Reyes Santos' Obituary
Robert Reyes Santos, age 72, of Ellendale, DE, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Manila, Philippines, on October 10, 1953, son of the late Isaiah and Prudencia Reyes Santos.
Robert worked as a Production Superintendent Manager for Mountaire Farms in Selbyville, DE, where he was known for his dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic. A true Philadelphia sports fan, he proudly cheered on all of the city’s teams, especially his beloved Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers.
Robert was a world traveler who loved exploring new places, trying new foods, and connecting with people wherever he went. He was a social butterfly who could light up any room with his warm personality and sense of humor. He especially treasured his trips back to the Philippines to spend time with family and lifelong friends. He enjoyed cooking and grilling for those he loved and took great pride in keeping things spotless, especially when it came to washing his cars. He found joy in the simple moments of life and adored his grand-pets, Riley, Rocky, and Romee, who brought him endless happiness and companionship.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brothers, Salvador Reyes and Antonio Reyes. Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa Santos; his children, Robert Joshua Santos, Ross-John Santos, Kristina Santos, Kimberly Santos; Rochele Santos-Haq and her husband, Nowshad Haq, and their son, Nash Aaren Santos Haq; Katrina Santos-Polbos and her husband, Wilber Polbos, along with their children, Warson and Willow Polbos; and RJ Santos; as well as his brother, Marlon Santos, and his wife, Maribel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966, where a viewing will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
Robert, a.k.a. Bobby to his near and dear ones will be sorely missed & cherished, forever remembered for his kindness, friendliness & generosity to those in need plus his deep love & dedication to his family as well as his undeniable zest for life.
