RUTH NAOMI ELVEY's Obituary
Ruth N. Elvey, age 87 of Dagsboro, DE, formerly of Enola, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2016.
She worked as an accountant for various companies for many years before working for the Delaware State Parks and Recreations at the time of her passing. Ruth was very independent, loved going to church, drinking her black coffee, working and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Donald Elvey, her special friend Julian Woods "Woody" , and a son John Hoffman.
She is survived by her daughter, JoMarie McClintock and her husband Donald of PA, her son, Bradley Hall and his wife Kim of Dagsboro, DE; five grandchildren, Shelly Darhower and her husband Michael of PA, Dawn Louise Kell of PA, David Hall and his wife Amy of Dagsboro, DE; Chelsey Hall of Dagsboro, DE, Leah Hudson and her fiancé Andy Bradford of Millsboro, DE; eight great grandchildren, Emmanuel Darhower , Tyson Darhower, Brianna, David Jr. and Nathan Hall, Ryan, Kayley and Avery Bradford and one great great grandson Lane Darhower.
Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Ruth's memory to Blackwater Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 549, Frankford, DE 19945.
