I remember when I was in North Hagerstown High School, I had Mrs Theatre for a home economics teacher. She was a very sweet, kind and caring lady. I remember the one project we did was called swedish weaving. I made a tea towel for my mom and it had purple elephants on it. My mother's favorite color was purple so she loved it. When I explained that to Mrs Theatre she just smiled that beautiful smile. Thank you for the memory of a wonderful class in high school.

Dear Bob and family, I remember Ruth well from our years working together at North Hagerstown High School. I was sorry to read her obituary in the HERALD MAIL this morning. However, it looks like she had a well-lived life. That is all that any of us can hope. Her life and career impacted many.
