Sandy and I were first cousins growing up in Morrisville in the 1950s several years ago my wife and I hosted Sandy at our home in Chapel Hill North Carolina and again at our farm in central Virginia we had lots of laughs together remembering the old days in Marcel including the 1955 Little League Championship team and vulcanized, rubber and plastics. I attended all three weddings of the Walker gals. I have very warm memories of all three of them as well as their parents, Sophie and Charles

Knowing Sandra was a privilege and a view into how one lives life full of hope, grace, faith, and determination to be the best and make the most of every situation. And Sandra did face many very happy as well as very challenging, life changing events during our years of friendship. Through it all, her love of the Lord was truly evident.
