Sandy Rydel, age 73, of Dagsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Beebe Health Care in Lewes, DE with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband Ben Rydel, Daughter Tracy Turner (Jon), grandson, Jonat Read Obituary
I will always cherish the times I spent in the kitchen at Joyce's with Sandy when the guys were blasting music in the basement. We always had great laughs and enjoyed each other's company. Sandy had a powerful sense of right and wrong and always had sympathy for the underdog whether it was a person or an actual dog! She loved animals and plants and surrounded herself with the things she loved. I will miss the fun conversations we had and her enjoyable presence.

We will miss Sandy. She hid so much of her suffering behind her sweet disposition. She was a wonderful example of strength and courage. Due to a conflicting Cancer Center treatment appointment, we will not be able to attend the services; however, our thoughts will be with you. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.
