Shirley Ann Diem's Obituary
Shirley Ann Diem, born on August 2, 1963, in West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, in Lewes, DE. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Nichols and Jean Bear Nichols-McComsey.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and sister who cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She had a passion for knitting and a unique collection of koala bears that brought her joy. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William Nichols, Warren Nichols, and Edwin Nichols.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Alan Diem; her daughter, Danielle Diem; her brother, Robert Nichols (Shirley); her sister, Beverly Delio; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Shirley's memory.
