SHIRLEY KITTS LEGGE's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Kitts Legge, age 78 of Millsboro, DE passed away at Delaware Hospice and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2016.
Shirley was born in Peoria Springs, VA on October 30, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Kitts.
She was a retired federal employee. Shirley worked at Naval Research Lab, Federal Aviation Admin and for the U.S. Air Force at Bolling Airforce Base during her successful career.
Shirley was a talented artist and an excellent organizer. She was active in her church, Grace United Methodist Church in Millsboro.
Shirley is survived by her husband Donald Legge, her son Scott Bowie and his wife Sherry; her daughter Donna Grubbs and her husband Barry; grandchildren, Jamie Burroughs, Brady Cox, Jesse Cox and his wife Tabby, along with great grandchildren, Bradlee Martin, Blake Gartland, Brent and Brayden Burroughs and Jesse Cox, Jr. She is also survived by a sister Marion Young and her husband Ronald.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Shirley's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
