Shirley Elnora Shock's Obituary
Shirley Elnora (Harmon) Shock, Age 80, of Millsboro, DE passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 after a short but devastating illness. Shirley was born on May 15, 1932 in Millsboro, DE She was the daughter of the late Lillian Davis and Oscar E. Harmon. Shirley was well known in her native Millsboro area, but she was also widely known in Charles County, MD where she lived and worked for 35 years prior to retirement. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gerald (Jerry) Shock, her twin sons: Stanley and Selvin Strauss; their wives: Monica Strauss and Carol Strauss; her sister: Ardith Mosley; her brother: Edward Harmon; her daughter-in-law: Marion Wright and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and aunts. A public viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE.. Funeral services will then start at 1:00PM with burial to follow at the Indian Mission United Church Cemetery where Shirley was a long time member.
