STEWART DAVID QUILLEN, SR's Obituary
Mr. Stewart David Quillen, Sr. of Millsboro, DE: On June 19, 2015, his breath of life returned to his creator for eternity. He was 31,854 days old. Mr. Quillen was employed by Townsends Inc. for 37 years as a Pellet Mill Operator and a Feed Truck Driver. He served in the Army and Coast Guard, where he received an Army of Occupation Medal and a World War II Victory Medal. He loved to spend time in prayer, reading the word and making his petitions known. He loved the changing beauty of creation and a cold drink of water. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry B. Quillen and Lydia Quillen, as well as two sons, Stewart D. Quillen, Jr. and Danny Ray Quillen. He is survived by three children, Rebecca Wilkins and her husband George of Powellville, MD; Bradley Quillen of Parsonsburg, MD and Glen Quillen of Millsboro, DE; a brother, Albert Quillen and his wife Nancy of Millsboro, DE; a sister, Irene Holston and her husband Granville of Millsboro, along with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE, 19966. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015, where friends may call after 12:00 PM for visitation also at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Millsboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to give gifts to perfect strangers for you may entertain messengers unaware. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com
