Teresa Ann (Cafarelli) Arico June 20, 1954 – June 8, 2025
Teresa Ann Arico, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Millsboro, DE, on June 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old.
Born on June 20, 1954, in New York, NY, Teresa was the daughter of the late George and Violet (Smith) Cafarelli. She devoted much of her professional life to the public school system, where she worked as a dedicated supervisor of food and beverage services. Her commitment to her work reflected the same care and attention she gave to every aspect of her life.
Teresa was a gifted crocheter, and her talent brought warmth and joy to many—she lovingly crafted countless handmade items for her family and friends. Her creativity and generosity were unmatched. The beach was her sanctuary, and she cherished time spent by the shore. Above all, the holidays held a special place in her heart, as they brought her greatest joy: being surrounded by her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by those loved and lost. She is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony J. Arico; her son, Eric A. Arico (Jessica) of Pomona, NY; her daughter, Lauren M. Haque (Sajjad) of Millsboro, DE; her brother, Tony Cafarelli of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and her treasured grandson, Ethan A. Haque of Millsboro, DE.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
Teresa’s vibrant spirit, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
