Thelma “Louise” Morgan, 81
Louise passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, at Delaware Bayhealth Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Georgetown. She was born on December 6, 1943, in Laurel, De.
Louise married her husband David Morgan in 1970 and worked closely with him in everything he did, whether it was raising chickens, a carpet cleaning service, a janitorial service, or being the shopkeeper at Dave’s Barber Shop in Millsboro, Delaware. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and playing Bingo. Her passion was her hobby of crocheting, and she always had a piece that she was working on.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, David Morgan, a daughter Lori Morgan and her beloved dog Trixie. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Hitch (Bill) and Jeannie Heck (Bryan). Her grandchildren Lauren Champlin (Jordan), Michael Hitch, Charity Truitt (Patrick), Ethan Truitt, Paden Truitt, Wyatt Truitt, Branden Morgan, Bryan Marvel (Willia), Wayne Morgan, Joshua Lee, and Jessie Lee; and several great grandchildren.
Louise will be deeply missed by her family, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Arrangements are being handled by Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium in Millsboro. A private graveside service will be held with interment in Millsboro Cemetery.
