Thomas Scoville Churchill's Obituary
Thomas Scoville Churchill, 92, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away suddenly on June 12, 2026.
Born on June 3, 1934, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Leroy and Olive (Scoville) Churchill.
Thomas graduated in 1952 from Pompton Lakes High School in New Jersey, where he excelled in both football and basketball.
He dedicated many years of his career to Public Service Electric and Gas Company in New Jersey, where he was known for his strong work ethic, extensive knowledge, experience, and unwavering commitment to his profession.
Throughout his life, Thomas valued hard work, family, travel, and the simple pleasures of everyday living. In recent years, he especially enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren, cheering on his favorite team, the New Jersey Devils, visiting the casino, and walking the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his older brother, David Churchill, and his younger brother, Charles “Chip” Churchill.
He is survived by his loving children, Randolph Churchill, Cindy Reith, and Thomas Scott Churchill; his four devoted grandchildren, Jessica Imparato, Dara Lockey, John Reith, and Michael Churchill; and thirteen cherished great-grandchildren, ranging in age from three to twenty years old. They will forever treasure the many memories they shared with him.
Thomas will be remembered for his quiet strength, steadfast character, kind sense of humor, and deep devotion to his family. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
