Thomas A. Jamison, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, in Dover, DE. Born on June 1, 1944, in Wilmington, DE, he was the beloved son of the late Asa Adair and Gloria (Delucia) Jamison.
Thomas dedicated his career to working as a heavy machine operator, a role he performed with great skill and pride. Before his professional career, he served honorably as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division and was recognized as a sharpshooter, reflecting his discipline and precision. Beyond his service and work, he had a lifelong passion for photography and was recognized as an award-winning photographer. His love of capturing life's moments was matched by his enthusiasm for NASCAR, his adventurous spirit for travel, and his deep enjoyment of spending time at the beach.
Thomas is survived by his children, Gloria Craig and Thomas A. Jamison, Jr.; his stepchildren, Selena and Richie; his brother, Richard Jamison; and his dear sister, Jean Pearson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Gloria Jamison; three brothers: Wesley Jamison, Paul Jamison, and Bobby Jamison; and sister, Sharon. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Military honors will be held to honor Thomas's life and service on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
