TIMOTHY BYRON CANNON's Obituary
Timothy Byron Cannon of Millsboro, DE departed his earthly life on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the age of 43 at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was born on October 31, 1970 at Beebe Hospital, Lewes, DE. Tim was the youngest of 10 siblings to the late Prince Edward Cannon and Marian Cannon who survives him. Tim or Timmy, as he was affectionately called, grew up in Millsboro, DE. He graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1988. At the time of his demise, Tim was employed at Merck (formerly known as Intervet) for 23 years. Prior to employment at Merck he worked at Acme. Tim was a care free individual with a very pleasant demeanor. He had a magnetic personality that affected all those he interacted with. Tim was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers fan. He also enjoyed Nascar with No. 88, Dale Earnhardt, being his favorite race car driver. Tim was a loving and dedicated father of Alexa Nicole. She was his pride and joy and they shared a very special bond together. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his beloved daughter, Alexa Nicole Cannon, Millsboro, DE; his loving mother, Marian Cannon, Millsboro, DE; four brothers, Elder James T. (Patsy) Cannon, Portsmouth, VA; Elder Edward A. (Jocelyn) Cannon; Ronald L. (Judy) Cannon, and Christopher Cannon all of Millsboro, DE; five sisters, Princess Elaine (Nathaniel) Speaks, Frankford, DE; Charlotte R. (William) Jackson; Esther V. Jackson; Dorthea A. (Duane) Johnson all of Millsboro, DE and Patricia L. (Wayne) Hicks, Milford, DE; one aunt, Bertha Hall, Millsboro, DE; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends Brian and Tango Rogers; four special brothers, Rep. John Atkins, Christopher Truitt, Christopher Hitchens and Kendall Warrington all of Millsboro, DE. A funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Dickerson Chapel AME Church, 28845 DuPont Blvd, Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
