Timothy Charles DuVal, Jr.'s Obituary
Timothy Charles DuVal, Jr., affectionately known as Tim to friends and loved ones, passed away on May 25, 2025, in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, at the age of 24. Born on September 29, 2000, in Salisbury, Maryland, Tim's life was one of enduring energy and passion, defined by his love for his family, his country, and the great outdoors.
Tim is survived by his wife, Angeliki (Kiki) Lampadarios, whom he married in 2020, and their cherished son, Waylon Thomas DuVal. He is also survived by his father, Timothy Charles DuVal, Sr., and stepmother Ashleigh; grandparents Carolyn and Howard DuVal of Millsboro, DE; and his siblings: Ashley Taylor of Kent Island, MD, Gabriella DuVal of Millsboro, DE, and two half-brothers and one half-sister of Salisbury, MD. He also leaves behind a dear friend and brother by choice, Kyle Williams, of Kent Island, MD, whose guidance and friendship shaped Tim into the man he became.
For the past two years, Tim served as a dedicated lineman with Local 175. He was known for fearlessly chasing storms across the country, never settling in one place for too long. Prior to his time as a lineman, Tim served his country with distinction in the United States Army, with four years of active duty stationed at Fort Benning, GA. His commitment continued in the Army Reserve, showcasing his unwavering dedication to service.
Tim's passions extended beyond his work and military service. He was an avid pool player, he relished the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle and enjoyed hunting and fishing in nature's embrace. He had a love for all music, blasting the radio in his truck with the windows down, dancing and yelling the lyrics without a care in the world. He often rode his motorcycle to beautiful ocean locations to sit peacefully and reflect. Above all, he was a devoted father, cherishing moments spent with his son and never missing an opportunity to connect through their regular FaceTime chats.
Tim will be deeply missed, but his enduring spirit will forever be a part of the lives he touched.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium, 211 South Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call beginning at 1:00PM. Interment will be private.
