Vernon Delano Lowe's Obituary
Vernon Delano Lowe, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2025, at home in Millsboro, Delaware, surround by his family.
Born to the late Arvil and Loma Lowe Long on November 4th, 1936, in Jewell Ridge, Virginia. Vernon's journey was a tapestry of love, laughter, and melody that wrapped warmly around the hearts of all who knew him.
Vernon’s love for Country music often found him in the center of Karaoke gatherings at the Harrington Moose Lodge, #534, where he was a well-known member. Those who knew him can lovingly recall his soulful renditions that could light up any room.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Judy Jean (Hess) Lowe and their two sons: son & daughter-in-law, Travis and Nicole Lowe, and son, Shane Lowe and Angela; his three grandchildren: Justin, Tyler, and Olivia Lowe; and his sweet little companion Jax. He is also survived by his siblings: Virgil and Annette Lowe, Bob and Charlotte Lowe, David Lowe and Cathy, and Jerry Lowe; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, his older brother Harold Lowe, and his two sisters-in-law: Arlene and Maxine.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Vernon’s name to the Harrington Moose Lodge, #534 at P.O. Box 339, Harrington, DE 19952.
Burial services for Vernon will be private.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, at the Harrington Moose Lodge, #534, 16268 S. Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE, 19952.
