Victoria Shanea Cannon's Obituary
Victoria Shanea Cannon was born August 6, 1984 in Lewes Delaware. She is survived by her husband of seven years Corbert Cannon Jr.; her mother Jacqueline Askins; siblings Marcus Handy and Latoya Walters; God parents Lafayette and Victoria Ferebee; Nephews and nieces Brendan Handy, Christopher Handy, Ryan Handy, Kaelynn Douglas, and Kamrynn Walters; five grandparents, step parents, and a large loving network of family and friends.
Affectionately known as "Wikkii" to her family and friends she was well loved by everyone. Victoria had a slew of talents and hobbies including crafts and praise dancing. She was also a published award winning poet. Victoria loved to visit the Ace Peer Center and The Shepherd's Office, go on shopping trips, and attend her local church Restoration Worship Center.
She would always be sure to share the news of how far God has brought her through life and we are at peace that she is at home with our heavenly father.
A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 13325 N. Worcester Hwy, Bishopville, MD 21813, where friends may call from 11 AM - 1 PM for viewing and visitation. Interment will follow at Zoar Golden Acres.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Victoria's memory to Ace Peer Center, 20707 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947 or Shepherd's Office, 408 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19947.
