Obituary of Mr. Vinol Vincent Mitchell
Vinol Vincent Mitchell, 91, of Frankford, DE passed away in the early morning of August 19, 2017. He was born on Jan. 17, 1926 to the late Norman I. and Minnie Phillips Mitchell in Millsboro, DE. Vinol was a farmer most of his adult life, worked at Bunting's Nursery and raced horses for a short time. He never married. In his past time, he enjoyed walking and loved animals, especially cats and dogs; nearest and dearest to his heart was his dog "Andy."
He is survived by his siblings: brothers, Granville Mitchell, and his wife Helen, of Selbyville; Paul Norman Mitchell, and his wife Barbara, of Laurel; and Vernon James Mitchell, and his wife Janice, of Frankford; sisters, Louise Hudson, of Frankford; and Betty Lou Parker, and her husband Merrill James, of Millsboro. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jackie Mitchell, of Seaford.
Vinol was preceded in death by siblings: Alvin Phillip Mitchell; Irene West; and Glenda Klein.
A funeral service will be held at the Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, DE on Wednesday, August 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Friends may call one hour prior from Noon till 1 PM for viewing and visitation. Interment is to follow at Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro.
