VIRGINIA STRAUT's Obituary
OBITUARY OF VIRGINIA L. STRAUT Virginia L. Straut of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Washingtonville, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. She was 83. Daughter of the late Arthur L. Tuttle and Clara A. Slater Tuttle, she was born in Binghamton, NY on February 14, 1931. She was married to Donald Straut who predeceased her in 1999. Virginia was a parishioner and choir member of Highland Mills United Methodist Church, former member of FISH of Blooming Grove, member of RSVP, Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Orange County, and member of HUB of Washingtonville. She is survived by her sons, Richard A. Straut and his wife Linda of New Hampton, Jeffrey A. Straut and his wife Hope of Wurtsboro, daughter, Susan J. Bell of Cornwall, brother, David Tuttle of Napanoch, sisters, Barbara Rose of New Windsor, and Linda Flynn of Newburgh, grandchildren, Laurie Laudati, Tracey England, Sarah Bell and MacKenzie Straut; great grandchildren Jeremy, Paul, Joseph, Brandon, Daniel, Devin & Victoria and companion Charles Herrmann of Millsboro, DE. She was predeceased by a sister Dolores Tuttle. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm in Airmont Cemetery, Suffern, NY with Rev. Vicky A. Fleming officiating followed by interment.
