Walter L Norwood's Obituary
Walter L. Norwood, also known at Peanut departed this life on Friday, June 9, 2017 at home, in Millsboro, Delaware.
His employment was as a live haul driver for Townsends, Incorporated which later became Mountaire; followed by his most recent position a heavy equipment operator for Independent Transfer Operators.
Peanut was predeceased by his father, Linford E. Norwood, half-brother, Darryl N. Norwood and half-sister, Evelyn "Bell" Harmon.
Peanut is survived by his mother Elaine Norwood, an uncle George Walter Norwood, son David Norwood (Courtney), three brothers Anthony Norwood (Lisa), Tran Norwood (Grace), Joshua Norwood (Lauren), and one sister Natosha Carmine (Don), a host of nieces and nephews, many friends too numerous to mention, and a dear friend Anna.
Arrangements are provided by Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Delaware 19966 where family and friends may call. The viewing is scheduled on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Israel United Methodist Church, 20230 Plantation Road, Lewes, Delaware 19958.
