Obituary of Mrs. Wanona ""Sissy"" Figueroa: Wanona ""Sissy"" Figueroa, age 59, of Millsboro passed away at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE on Friday, October 25, 2013. Born on September 13, 1954 in Paterson, NJ - she was the daughter of the late Bernard S. and Alejandrina Suffern. She lived in New Jersey, Florida, Michigan, and Virginia before settling in Delaware. Sissy worked the accounting field before retiring. She is survived by her sons: Renzo Carrillo, and his wife Rachael; and Emilio Figueroa, Jr., and his wife Natalie. She is also survived by her daughters: Lisa Martinez; and Denise Figueroa; along with a brother: Russell Suffern; her 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother: Clifford Suffern. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 28 at the Watson Funeral Home; 211 South Washington Street; Millsboro, DE at 2:00 PM, where friends may call one hour prior to pay respects, and visit with the family. Pastor Andrew Ehlers will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society; 733 Third Avenue; Third Floor, New York, NY 10017.
