William Howard Bleam's Obituary
William Howard Bleam, a dedicated family man and lover of the outdoors, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born on April 20, 1943, in Quakertown, PA, to the late Martin and Harriet (Reynolds) Bleam.
After completing high school, William enlisted in the army, proudly serving his country before embarking on a career as a machinist. He found joy in working with his hands and took pride in his craftsmanship.
William's true passion, however, lay in the great outdoors. He found solace and happiness in activities such as fishing, crabbing, and clamming, immersing himself in the beauty of nature. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, participating in sporting clays, and mastering the art of archery. His love for westerns added an extra dimension to his appreciation for the outdoors.
Throughout his life, William cherished moments spent with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two beloved sons; Shane and Matthew: and his brother, Martin Bleam. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillie L. Bleam: as well as three children; Sheila Donovan (Tom), Wade Bleam, and Robert J. Labs (Natalie): five grandchildren; James (Catherine), Rachael, Nathan (Nicole), Brittany, and Taylor; and three great-grandchildren: Oliver, Annie, and Owen. He is also survived by two sisters; Shirley Long and Rosella Crouthamel (Richard "Lefty"): as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
William's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. In accordance with his wishes, services will be private, allowing his family and friends to honor his life and legacy in a personal and meaningful way. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and touched.
