William Anthony Buron's Obituary
William Anthony Buron, 86, died on October 17, 2022, while residing at the Delaware State Veterans Home in Milford, Delaware.
William was born August 31, 1936, in Irvington, NJ to Raoul Buron and Mary Queenan-Buron. He spent his childhood in Rahway, NJ and graduated from Rahway High School. Over the years he resided in Colonia and Brick NJ as well as Ormond Beach, FL. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp and National Security Agency. His lifetime career was working for the Port Authority of NY NJ.
He enjoyed many years coaching for the Merrill Park Baseball League and was an avid golfer.
He is predeceased by both parents, his former wife Anna Serson, his sister Marguerite and brother Raoul. He is survived by his son, William of Toms River NJ, wife Laurie, daughter Ashley Emberson, husband Matt and great-grandsons Elijah and Ezra. Daughter Laurie Happel of Millsboro, DE, husband Bruce, son Michael Winner, daughter Jaime Winner-Arnold, husband Trey and great granddaughter Olivia. Son Michael of Browns Mills NJ, daughter Alyssa, son Michael, daughters Jessica, Francesca and Nicolette. Niece Patrice Grassman and nephews Raoul and Dennis Buron.
A chapel service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka KS 66675-8516.
