WILLIAM ""BILL"" STEWART GROSS's Obituary
Mr. William ""Bill"" Stewart Gross of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, June 20, 2015. He was 62 years old. Bill was born on December 21, 1952 in York, PA. He is preceded by both parents, Ralph M. and Reba Mae Lieb Gross. Bill was formerly Vice President of a 7-Up Bottling Co owned by his parents and later was a self-employed construction contractor. He was well known around his neighborhood as the man who could fix just about anything and he enjoyed helping others. He loved being outdoors, gardening, fishing, crabbing, hunting, camping and playing music. He enjoyed country music and in his younger years played the drums. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Eliza Gross of Millsboro, DE, one son, William Gross of New York, a sister, Beverly Fauth of PA and his beloved ""furry children"" ""Sparky"" and ""Bubba"" as well as extended family members and friends. A viewing and celebration of Bill's life will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. At 6:00 PM a Prayer Vigil will be conducted by Rev. Israel Figueroa. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in Bill's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
