WILLIAM EDWARD JACKSON, JR's Obituary
Mr. William Edward Jackson, Jr., affectionately referred to as ""Big Bill and ""Junior"", passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 with his family by his side at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was 62 years old. Bill was born on September 30, 1952 in Lewes, DE to the late William E. Jackson, Sr. and Doreen Clark Jackson who survives him. He retired from Mountaire after 37 years of service as a Maintenance Welder. He was a former US Marine and past member of Indian River Vol. Fire Co. Bill was known for his great sense of humor and could always make someone laugh. He enjoyed country music especially George Jones, playing horseshoes, barbequing, muscle cars, and watching Barrett Jackson Car Auctions. His home was the ""neighborhood hangout"" and he enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 41 years, Charlotte Jackson of Millsboro, DE; a son, William Edward Jackson, III of Millsboro and three grandchildren, Derek Nathan Jackson, August Newkirk and Mia Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call after 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Harmony Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made in Bill's memory to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com
