Obituary for William Stephen Lhotsky
William Stephen Lhotsky, born August 25, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on November 1, 2024, in Dover, Delaware, at the age of 69.
The son of Jean Agnes (Peacock) Lhotsky and the late William F. Lhotsky, he built a successful career in the printing industry, working first for The Daily Times and later for the Cape Gazette.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a fan of classic horror movies, Seinfeld, and Saturday Night Live, often sharing his sharp wit and great sense of humor with those around him. He loved listening to music, reading, and spending time at the beach, where he found serenity.
He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Lhotsky. He is survived by his cherished children, Nicholas S. Lhotsky and Lauren Lhotsky; his adored grandchildren, Blair and Nico Lhotsky; his loving mother, Jean Lhotsky; and his devoted brother, Gregg Lhotsky, and his husband Barry Podgorsky.
In accordance with his wishes, services will be private.
