WILLIAM (BILL) EDWARD ROSSELL, SR's Obituary
Mr. William Edward Rossell, Sr. ""Bill"" of Millsboro formerly of New Castle, DE passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was 86 years old. Bill was born on January 21, 1927 in New Castle, DE to the late Joseph and Edna Riley Rossell. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded by two children, Diane K. Rossell and Steven M. Rossell; two brothers, Francis and Robert Rossell, and two grandchildren. He retired from Delmarva Power where he worked as the Assistant Comptroller for over 30 years. He was a member of New Castle United Methodist Church. He was an ""Eagles"" fan, enjoyed playing tennis, and carpentry. Bill was a very practical, level headed happy man. He always encouraged his children to pursue their dreams. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judith Rossell of Millsboro; a son, William E. Rossell, Jr. of Millsboro; two daughters, Donna Lyle Roberts of Spindale, NC and Judith J. McKee and her husband Kenneth of Chesapeake City, MD; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Glebe Cemetery in New Castle, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice.
