WILLIAM C SPENCER, SR's Obituary
Mr. William C. Spencer, Sr., of Frankford, DE, formerly of New Mexico and Baltimore, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. He was 69 years old. Mr. Spencer was born in Baltimore City, MD on October 22, 1943 to the late William C. and Sarah Amanda Jane Brown Spencer. He worked as a sales manager in the food service business for many years. He was a Mason, a member of the Indian River Senior Center, loved football and playing pool. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elisabeth A. Spencer of Frankford, DE; children, William C. Spencer, Jr. of Abingdon, MD; Kenneth A. Green of Dagsboro, DE; Karen Spencer of Baltimore, MD; and Richard Green and wife Suzanne of Palm Beach, FL; sister, Carroll Merson and husband Linky of Finksburg, MD; three nieces, Robin, Page and Melanie; six grandchildren, Christopher, Abigail, Michaela, Jonathan, Seth and Connor. He is also survived my many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the St. John's United Methodist Church, 1205 N. Main St., Hampstead, MD. 21074. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Indian River Senior Center, 214 Irons Ave. Millsboro, DE 19966.
