Obituary of William Edward Street
William Edward Street "Billy," of Millsboro departed this life November 1, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 19, 1935, the second of four sons of Lawrence and Etta Miller Street. Billy began working at an early age, later creating his own businesses; initially called Street's Sanitation Services, later becoming William E. Street, Inc.
Billy leaves to mourn his passing four children: Donald Alexander, Lavonne Street (Linwood); Gordon Street (Deborah); and Teresa Street (Joe). Also, his brother: James Street (Elena) and grandchildren: William Shannon Street; Brandi Wright; Dwayne Street (Jessica); Dale Street; Katina Alexander; Donald Alexander, Jr.; and Parish Alexander. Billy also has many great-grandchildren and in-laws, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon, at the Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church; 30007 Cordrey Road, Millsboro, DE 19966. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor Stephen Boyce officiating. Interment follows in the Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.
