I was Albert’s Lieutenant when he graduated from the academy. Since day 1 we created many, many good memories. He was a great fire fighter and later on become a great leader and mentor to many within our department. My prayers and condolences to the family. Rest easy Woody!!

We had some fun times together going places to race people in that sleeper of a 4 door lime green mean machine with most times 6 or 8 head in the car and never lost a race when I was one of the ones in the back seat . Growing up in rock hall age wasn't much of a factor in friendship as with only 2500 people you knew everything about everyone and couldn't really help being close to all as we all had a lot of good times hanging out at any 1 of the few stores parking lots together or just doing the rock hall 500 to pass the time.
I’m utterly shocked my friend. We lived so close and talked about meeting up but never did and now I find out lost one of the better friends I have had in my life. Condolences to your family because I am sure they are devastated. I will pray for them and I will hope the Lord will give them them the solace they need to know you’re in a better place. You were a great friend and mentor and you will be dearly missed. Ken
Our deepest condolences to the family. Bert had a kind soul and was a good man. He will be deeply missed.
