Albert Arthur Coleman's Obituary
Albert "Bert" Arthur Coleman II, 56, of Felton, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly, on June 11, 2025. He was born in Chestertown, Maryland on April 7, 1969, son of the late Albert Coleman and Deborah Hammer.
Bert graduated from Kent County High School, Class of 1987. He then dedicated his life to the fire service, a commitment he carried out for over three decades. Bert was a life member of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company. He served with distinction for the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, achieving the rank of Fire Captain before retiring in August 2024.
Outside of his professional life, Bert had a passion for the outdoors, traveling, RV'ing, boating, farming, his animals and a strong unwavering love for his family. Known for his sharp wit and dry humor, Bert brought laughter and light to those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristyn Coleman, and his children: Samantha, Kimberly, and Spencer. He also leaves behind a grandson, Caiden, and many friends and family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Matt and Barbara, and his beloved mastiff, Romeo.
